That’s a wrap! For the third time in four years, Triumph hosted its soccer tournament for more than a dozen transportation and logistics companies in the Chicago area on August 13.
On a beautiful, 75-degree day, more than 300 fleet owners, drivers, family members, and friends made the trek to the Fire Pitch sports complex in northern Chicago for a day of soccer, family-friendly games, and some EPIC BBQ, prepared and smoked by the Triumph team.
In all, 14 teams vied for the title of Chi-Town Showdown Champions:
- 381
- Atlas FC
- BishReal
- Crow Logistics LLC
- FC Moldova Chicago
- Global Tire
- Balkan
- Super Ego Holding
- Task Force
- Zam Zam
- Paragon FKRS
- FC Tryzub
- KTM United
- Liths
In the end, the team representing SDS Freight (competing this year as Balkan) earned the title, completing their 3-peat as tournament champions.
Balkan won a 40-person suite at an upcoming Chicago Bulls game and a one-of-a-kind trophy made by the TBK Workshop team.
This year was all about elevating the experience. From family-friendly events (face painting, games, and a bounce house) to a DJ spinning the top 100 hits – old and new – guests and team members experienced a lot of new this year.
With so much positive feedback, we are already looking forward to next year.
